Elegant and historic
The conference will take place in the Kurhaus Merano in the centre of Merano’s Old Town with beautiful mountain views.
The magnificent Kurhaus is decorated with light-hearted paintings and delicate art nouveau ornamentation. On the south side there is a fine terrace with access to the famous Passer Promenade. The whole architectural work is surrounded by an atmosphere of lightness and elegance. The silhouette of the Kurhaus can be seen from afar, with the shops and restaurants just a short distance away.
Breathtaking mountains and cultural treasures
Merano, located in the Italian province of South Tyrol, benefits in many ways from their favorable location. The Merano basin offers a mild climate year round, creating a unique atmosphere where Mediterranean gardens in full bloom sit beneath snow-covered Alpine peaks. This mixture of Germanic and Italian culture has also led to a specific local cuisine characterized by both Mediterranean and Alpine traditions.
South Tyrol boasts impressive mountains, crystal-clear mountain lakes and excellent cuisine. In Merano and its surrounding valleys in South Tyrol, you will discover a mixture of deeply traditional villagers, strong and stubborn mountain-dwellers, but also multilingual and creative people with an imaginative and cosmopolitan spirit.
